The biggest of the Country Franklin models - this is a traditional heavy cast iron model - combining the feel of the traditional fireplace with some of the conveniences of a wood burning stove. You often find there are situations where a fireplace might not work well - if the fireplace opening is too big you can get problems with the open fire smokingand the chimney not drawing properly. With this stove you can fold back the doors & get that same feel as an open fire - but have a lot more control over the situation. Please measure the stove very carefully - it has been copied by a lot of firms - the best copy is probably the Stovax Regency model -if you have not got an original Country Franklin - the spares you buy for this stove might not fit. The Country Franklin stove is a multi fuel stove - this means it has got a grate & ash pan & you will be able to burn wood or coal & smokeless fuel on the stove as you please. You will be able to get replacement grate & ash pan. The Stove used to be available with glass or solid doors & is now only produced with glass doors. You can get spare glass for the doors - please check which model you have got.
