The baffle plate (also known as a throat plate) sits above the firebox and stops the flue gases going directly out of the flue exit and in this way allow more heat to be extracted from the firebox and therefore make the stove more efficient. This baffle is for an Aarrow Becton 11 multi fuel stove.
